Gary N. Vicari
President & General Manager
Arlington Automotive Group, Inc.

Gary Vicari is responsible for the day-to-day general management of the Arlington Automotive Group, which consists of Arlington Toyota, Arlington Scion, the Arlington Collision Center and the real estate company that owns their 5.3 acre auto campus. Mr. Vicari also keeps involved with long-term corporate matters such as facility expansion/renovation, automobile franchise opportunities, and company legal concerns.

After undergraduate degree studies at the University of Colorado – Boulder, Gary continued graduate business studies at Illinois State University – Bloomington / Normal. A move to Southern California for 6 ½ years got Mr. Vicari involved in sales and management with Cablevision and RCA Distributing Corporation. In 1985 he accepted a Marketing Manager position with Olympus Corporation, Woodbury NY which began 15 years of increasingly more responsible positions in the video, photo and professional A/V industries. His last position before joining the Arlington Auto Group was General Manager for Chatani U.S.A. Inc., a diversified Japanese trading company with its U.S. headquarters in New York City.

In August 2000 his father, Anthony Vicari, passed away. Gary returned to the automobile business that he had known when he was a porter and then car salesman as a teenager at his father’s Lincoln Mercury store. However, all of the experience and knowledge he had gained away from the family business had to be applied to assure the family business would continue to survive.

Five years late the Arlington Auto Group has survived, and thrived. Twenty four more employees work at the Arlington Auto Group than did in 2000. Gary and brother Scott planned and completed a complete facility expansion and renovation in 2004-5, and the future outlook with the newly renovated facility and management staff is very bright.
